The color sheet you’re buying should be matching the rest of your bedroom decoration, especially the comforter. Otherwise it is easy worsen the look of your bed by buying color sheets that will look out of place.

Tips

When you’ve answered these two questions, you can start your shopping. There are a few useful “color sheets’ tips” you might want to read, though. They will make your life a lot easier.

Check the weave and the thread count

Remember to check the kind of weave and the thread count, especially if you can actually touch the color sheet you buy. The bigger thread count, the softer is the sheet. But be warned: if the thread count is too high, the sheet can become slippery.

Remember about color changes

Only the highest quality color sheets can keep their color indefinitely. In most cases you have to be extra careful during the washing to save the color. Otherwise in a year at most, the color sheets you’ve bought will change their color – it will fade slightly.
