The most important part of your home’s interior design idea is furniture. There are lots of ideas about how to arrange it and there are lots of theories on this subject. I know lots of furniture arranging specialists – and every single one of them says something different from the others. All of these interior design specialists have their own ideas that do not seem to dovetail with each other. There isn’t any one-and-only furniture arranging theory. All we can honestly say is that there are a few interior design ideas that are worth of consideration.
Many interior design ideas are virtually exclusive. Fortunately there are a few tips that are going to be quite universal.
First of all, keep in mind that your home’s interior design must be useful. No ideas that will result in blocking the way to any part of your house are good ones – no matter how good it looks on paper.
Next, you have to use your common sense – it doesn’t matter if the interior design book you’re reading for ideas says that the lamp "must stay in northern corner" – if you see there won’t be enough light. If something doesn’t seem to make any sense, don’t follow the advice, no matter how ‘authoritative’.
The last tip is: keep in mind that there are no universal interior design ideas. The ideas themselves might be good, but they are always of limited use! Int one home, the interior design done by the book’s ideas might look gorgeous, but at another it can look like a drunkard’s dream. The results may vary depending on home’s location, the color of furniture or any one of a million factors.
