As tempurpedic is the most expensive part of the mattress, buying only the pad can prove to be very economic solution.
Why buy the pads and not the full tempurpedic mattresses?
There are two reasons to favor tempurpedic mattress pads over the regular mattresses of this material.
The first is the cost – tempurpedic mattress pads are at least three times cheaper than the mattresses of similar quality.
The second is the fear of the unknown. What if you buy a tempurpedic mattress, spend a lot of money, but you simply didn’t like it and after a month you decide to return it? Even if money isn’t a factor, by the time you decide it’s time to change back the mattresses, the old one is probably already thrown out or given away. Tempurpedic mattress pads can also minimize other possible problems linked to tempurpedic mattresses. The pads much less often smell of plastic and they are much less likely to be too hard. Of course, these problems are known to vanish after some time, but they are still a real nuisance for many tempurpedic mattress’ users. Pads minimize the problems – a layer of tempurpedic in the pad isn’t usually thick enough to cause any problems.
