Air Beds: Beds Filled With Air Are Enormously Comfortable
What are air beds?
Air beds were originally developed for medical purposes, namely eliminating the problem of pressure points. But for the last few years they have become more and more popular among customers without medical issues. Their construction is simple. Air beds’ mattresses, instead of typical coil string system, contain air bladder chambers with air to provide support. The effects of such construction are excellent, resulting both in increased durability and the sleeping comfort.
What are the benefits of having air beds in your house? There are many ways in which air beds can contribute to your comfort and health. Below there are only a few most important examples. |
(1) Air beds mold to your body, thus eliminating the pressure points problem. Standard mattresses often force some parts of your body to carry most of its weight, which can result in pains and/or uncomfortable sleep. Air beds, as well as water beds, can solve the problem once and for all.
(2) All air beds are hypoallergenic. A standard mattress accumulates a lot of dust, but air beds offers only very limited nesting space, so if you use an air bed, there will only be little dust on it.
(3) Air beds let us have better sleep and this, subsequently, gives us serious medical benefits. Good sleep can improve your immunity system, reduce stress and increase your ability to concentrate.
And what are the potential problem?
There is only one possible problem, but only if you sleep with your partner in the same bed. Air beds are usually very sensitive to body movements. It is not a problem for a single person, but it can reduce the sleeping comfort for a couple. Fortunately there are also air beds that incorporate two distinct air bladders’ systems. They allow comfortable sleep of two people on the same bed.
