Home Decor & Furniture:: Wireless Alarm System
To enforce home security one of the best ways is getting a wireless alarm system. A wireless alarm system relays in two ways, either a connection by radio frequency or infrared light rays. These alarm systems can be monitored or unmonitored depending on the user’s preferences.
Monitored wireless alarm systems carry signals to the security company’s monitoring station automatically during alarm activation. Monitored alarm systems are most likely not audible. While an unmonitored wireless alarm system produces a loud alarm with flashing lights when triggered. Unmonitored alarm systems do not have a monitoring station to relay the emergency.
The control panel is the heart of every wireless security alarm system, found on the basement of the building or a hidden panel. Two magnetic switches are set up on doors and windows. The first magnetic switch is set up on the door frame or window frame and the second switch is set up on the door or window. An alarm is triggered every time the switch is moved out of position.
Motion sensors are set up on hallways and large rooms. There are also other types of wireless security alarm systems other the motion sensor. Infrared sensors and heat sensors are used to detect body heat. If either of these sensors are triggered a signal is automatically sent to the control panel which determines if there is an unauthorized intrusion. To activate and deactivate a wireless alarm system there are keypads situated near the entrances of the building.
There are several advantages of a wireless security alarm system over a wire security system, these are:
* Easy installation – anyone can easily install a wireless alarm system. All you need to do is follow the instructions on setting it up. While wireless alarm systems have different wires that require proper installation thus, needing a specialist to set it up.
